Under normal circumstances, what kinds of cement can be classified according to its use and performance?

Cement is divided into uses according to its use and performance:

(1) General Cement: Cement commonly used in civil engineering construction. General cement mainly refers to: six major types of cement specified in GB175-2007, namely Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, pozzolanic Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement and composite Portland cement.

(2) Special cement: special purpose cement. Such as: G-class oil well cement, road Portland cement.

(3) Characteristic cement: a cement with outstanding performance. Such as: fast hard Portland cement, low heat slag Portland cement, expanded sulphoaluminate cement, aluminophosphate cement and phosphate cement.

Cement is divided into its main hydraulic substance names:

(1) Portland cement, which is known as Portland cement abroad;

(2) aluminate cement;

(3) sulphoaluminate cement;

(4) iron aluminate cement;

(5) fluoroaluminate cement;

(6) Phosphate cement

(7) Cement with volcanic ash or latent hydraulics and other active materials as main components.

Cement can be divided into:

(1) Fast hardness (hydraulicity): It can be divided into fast hardness and extra fast hardness.

(2) Heat of hydration: it can be divided into two categories: medium heat and low heat.

(3) Sulfate resistance: it can be divided into two categories: sulfate resistance and high sulfate resistance.

(4) Expansibility: It can be divided into two categories: expansion and self-stress.

(5) High temperature resistance: The high temperature resistance of aluminate cement is classified by the content of alumina in the cement.

Principles for naming cement:

Cement is named according to different categories according to the main hydraulics minerals, mixtures, uses and main characteristics of cement, and strives to be concise and accurate. When the name is too long, abbreviations are allowed.

General purpose cement is named after the main hydraulics minerals of cement and the names of mixtures or other appropriate names.

Special cement is named for its special purpose and can be crowned with different types.

Characteristic cement is named after the main hydraulics minerals of cement and the main properties of cement. It can also be named by different types or mixtures.

Cement with pozzolanic or latent hydraulic materials and other active materials as its main component is named by the name of the main component and the name of the active material. It can also be named by the name of characteristics, such as gypsum slag cement, lime pozzolanic cement, etc.

Definition of cement type

(1) Cement: mix with water to form plastic paste, which can bind sand, stone and other materials. It can harden both in air and in water.

(2) Portland cement: Portland cement, which is made of Portland cement clinker, 0%~5% limestone or granulated blast furnace slag and proper amount of gypsum grinding, is called Portland cement. It is divided into P.I and P.II, which are commonly known as Portland cement abroad.

(3) Ordinary Portland Cement: Hydraulic cementitious material made of Portland Cement clinker, 6%~20% mixed material and proper amount of gypsum grinding. It is called Ordinary Portland Cement (abbreviated as Ordinary Cement), code name: P.O.

(4) Slag Portland Cement: Hydraulic cementitious material made of Portland Cement clinker, 20%~70% granulated blast furnace slag and appropriate amount of gypsum grinding. It is called Slag Portland Cement, code name: P.S.

(5) Pozzolanic Portland Cement: Hydraulic cementitious material made of Portland cement clinker, 20%~40% pozzolanic mixture material and appropriate amount of gypsum grinding. It is called pozzolanic Portland cement, code: P.P.

(6) Fly-ash Portland Cement: A hydraulically cementitious material made of Portland Cement clinker, 20%-40% fly-ash and appropriate amount of gypsum grinding. It is called Fly-ash Portland Cement, code name: P.F.

(7) Composite Portland Cement: Hydraulic cementitious material made of Portland Cement clinker, 20%~50% two or more prescribed mixtures and appropriate amount of gypsum grinding. It is called Composite Portland Cement (abbreviated as Composite Cement), code P.C.

(8) Medium-heat Portland Cement: Hydraulic cementitious material with moderate hydration heat, which is made of Portland Cement clinker with appropriate composition and adding appropriate amount of gypsum grinding.

(9) Portland cement with low heat slag: a hydraulic cementing material with low heat of hydration, which is made of Portland cement clinker with appropriate composition and adding appropriate amount of gypsum grinding.

(10) Fast hardening Portland cement: Portland cement clinker with appropriate amount of gypsum is ground to produce cement with high early strength and marked by three-day compressive strength.

(11) Sulfate-resistant Portland Cement: Portland cement clinker with appropriate amount of gypsum grinding to make a cement with good sulfate corrosion resistance.

(12) White Portland Cement: white cement made by adding appropriate amount of gypsum to Portland cement clinker with low iron oxide content.

(13) Road Portland Cement: Hydraulic cementitious material made of road Portland cement clinker, 0%~10% active mixture material and appropriate amount of gypsum grinding, is called Road Portland Cement (referred to as road cement).

(14) Masonry cement: Low-grade cement, mainly used for masonry mortar, is made of active mixtures, Portland cement clinker and gypsum.

(15) Oil well cement: Portland cement clinker, appropriate amount of gypsum and mixtures made of suitable minerals are suitable for oil and gas well cementing engineering under certain well temperature conditions.

(16) Gypsum slag cement: cement made of granulated blast furnace slag as the main component material and adding appropriate amount of gypsum, Portland cement clinker or lime grinding.
