When purchasing a concrete mixer, in addition to distinguishing the size of the mixer, you should also pay attention to the following specific purchasing considerations:

1. To produce high-quality concrete, you must choose high-quality concrete mixer equipment. Quality is an important prerequisite for ensuring the production efficiency and quality of the mixer.

2. Select the appropriate model of concrete mixer according to the demand of the project, and do not choose blindly.

3. Choose a mixer equipment with a higher degree of automation. Although ordinary equipment is cheaper, the mixer consumes more manpower. In the long run, the fully automatic mixer equipment is not as cost-effective.

5. Frequently check and adjust the cylinder, butterfly valve, solenoid valve, etc. to ensure that the opening and closing meet the requirements.

6. Check each system frequently, and deal with it promptly if there is dust leakage, air leakage, oil leakage, electricity leakage, etc.

7. The mixer and discharge hopper should be cleaned every four hours to prevent residual concrete from solidifying and hindering normal operation.

8. There are nine steps for regular maintenance. Every shift, the accumulated water inside the air compressor, air storage tank and filter should be drained, and faults that occur during operation should be eliminated.

9. Butterfly valves, mixers, solenoid valves, air filters and lubricators should be maintained according to relevant instructions.

There are three main types of choices for concrete mixing stations, namely selection according to project volume and construction period requirements, selection according to planned concrete types, and selection according to the composition characteristics and consistency of concrete.

1. Select according to project quantity and construction period requirements. When the concrete project volume is large and the construction period is long, a medium or large fixed concrete mixing plant should be selected; if the concrete project volume is small and the construction period is short, a small or medium-sized mobile mixer should be selected.

2. Select according to the planned concrete type. When the mixed concrete is plastic or semi-plastic, a self-falling mixer can be used; if the mixed concrete is high-strength, dry-hard or lightweight concrete, a forced mixer should be used.

3. Select according to the composition characteristics and consistency of concrete. If the concrete has a low consistency and the aggregate particle size is large, a concrete mixing station with a larger capacity should be selected; if the concrete has a large consistency and the aggregate particle size is large, a concrete mixing station with a faster mixing barrel can be used; if the consistency is large and the aggregate particle size is small, a forced mixer or a medium or small-capacity conical reversing discharge mixer can be used.
