The standard formulation meeting of the Cement Concrete Pipe Culvert Branch of China Concrete and Cement Products Association was successfully held in Liuzhou, Guangxi

Organized by the Cement Concrete Pipe Culvert Branch of the China Concrete and Cement Products Association, and jointly undertaken by Jiangsu Zhongyi Building Materials Machinery Group and Guangxi Lianheng New Building Materials Co., Ltd., the second working meeting of the "Cement Products Process Technical Regulations Part 1: Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Drainage Pipes" industry standard, and the establishment and first working meeting of the "Reinforced Concrete Round Pipe with Base" association standard preparation group were held in the beautiful Liuzhou, Guangxi from July 28 to 30, 2021. 90 experts and representatives from 68 units including China Concrete and Cement Products Association, China Concrete and Cement Products Association Cement Concrete Pipe Culvert Branch, Suzhou Concrete and Cement Products Research Institute, Beijing Municipal Engineering Research Institute, Guangxi Product Quality Inspection Research Institute, Guangxi Building Materials Research and Design Institute, Liuzhou Construction Engineering Quality and Safety Management Center, Liaoning Cement Products Industry Association, Guangxi Cement Products Association, as well as design institutes, quality inspection agencies, industry associations, manufacturing and equipment supporting enterprises attended the meeting.

The meeting discussed the revision of the building materials industry standard "Technical Regulations for Cement Products Part 1: Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Drainage Pipes" and the formulation of the association standard for "Reinforced Concrete Round Pipes with Bases". The representatives spoke enthusiastically and the atmosphere was very warm.

On the morning of July 29, the second working meeting of the "Technical Specifications for Cement Products Processing Part 1: Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Drainage Pipes" industry standard was hosted by Secretary-General Zhang Yinqiu of the Cement Pipe Culvert Branch of China Concrete and Cement Products Association. Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Qinghuan of China Concrete and Cement Products Association delivered a speech and introduced industry standards and the requirements for the revision and formulation of association standards. Secretary-General Liao Lidong of the host Guangxi Cement Products Association and Chairman Zhong Changping of the co-organizer Jiangsu Zhongyi Building Materials Machinery Group delivered welcome speeches respectively.

The representatives attending the meeting listened to the standard preparation group’s summary report on the handling of opinions on the "Technical Specifications for Cement Products Processing Part 1: Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Drainage Pipes" (discussion draft) and the revision of the "Technical Specifications for Cement Products Processing Part 1: Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Drainage Pipes" (first draft for soliciting comments).

On the afternoon of July 29, the establishment and first working meeting of the standard preparation group of the "Reinforced Concrete Round Pipe with Base" Association was held. The meeting was chaired by Chu Jianzhong, deputy secretary-general of the Cement Pipe Culvert Branch of China Concrete and Cement Products Association.

     Representatives attending the meeting listened to reports on the technical background of the standard formulation of the "Reinforced Concrete Round Pipe with Base" standard, preliminary research and preparation work, main content and basis for revision of the standard, etc., and reviewed the main specifications, product shape, base width and thickness, and product main content of the reinforced concrete round pipe with base. Full exchanges were conducted on mechanical performance indicators, testing methods, materials and process quality control, etc., and the division of labor and standard preparation progress of participating units were clarified. The "Reinforced Concrete Round Pipe with Base" (discussion draft) was discussed item by item, and modification opinions and suggestions were put forward.

The meeting conducted technical exchanges on my country's reinforced concrete drainage pipe production technology and the production and application of reinforced concrete round pipes with bases. Xu Xikun of Tangshan Longyu Cement Products Co., Ltd. and Shao Xiaoguang of Xiamen Chaorong Building Materials Co., Ltd. made exchange speeches titled "Quality Control Points of Mandrel Vibration and Radial Extrusion Forming" and "Production Technology of Reinforced Concrete Round Pipes with Bases" respectively.

On the second day, the delegates visited Guangxi Lianheng New Building Materials Co., Ltd., which is provided by Jiangsu Zhongyi Building Materials Machinery Group with all production equipment, process layout, on-site construction and other services. They inspected the reinforced concrete drainage pipe production process site, learned about the factory layout and equipment of the new cement concrete pipe culvert enterprise, and further learned about the main reinforced concrete drainage pipe process production lines involving standard content - core mold forming process and radial extrusion forming process.

The representatives visited the mandrel vibration pipe production line. The production line has two sets and four stations, with a daily output of 50 pipe sections.
